@San Antonio Gal - I had ordered in the past and enjoyed them.  And I've ordered the larger jars with no problem.

But I think, when they start ramping up production for the CIJ stuff, that's when the problems start to happen.

Honestly, I wouldn't complain without reason.  And what I got was just not good.  I'm glad though that your grandkids enjoyed what they got.

Re: Germack OH NO !

[ Edited ]

Germack is one of the food brands I buy from QVC on a regular basis and never had an issue.

I'm enjoying that Summer Assortment right now!

My mouth was watering when they presented them on the Gourmet Holiday shows.

Ditto!  So much "dust" in bottom of jars!  I can remember going to their location in Eastern Market and everything was so fresh!  Since they went "big time"the quality has gone down (JMHO).  I stopped purchasing them.

@Venezia

I don't get these nuts....but about that best by date....

If you received them in December....how do you know those "best by dates" are not the NEXT August or October....unless an expiration year was  indicated too?

Maybe Q now requires a date on food products....

Seems odd there would be no end YEAR on the date like almost every product in our pantries have on them...!

Or maybe it's implied...I don't know....

I think thier food is highly over rated and crazy overpriced for what you get.....

I've tried these types of products a few times---why? I ask myself alotWoman Frustrated--------and have gotten horrible products. Not with hair in it--omg--so gross!! but usually the nuts were all broken and tons of nut dust--never thought to check the date tho---and this last time---the food was so stale and think the dried fruit upset my stomach a few times too. So dumped it all and got my $$ back.

Recently tried this nut mix from Amazon, they also have sesame sticks which I'm not crazy about and thought I'd throw them out and just eat the nuts.  It's all delicious!  Currently $7.66 I think that's a deal.  They were fresh.

@Othereeeen - Yes, of course they had a year on them.  Otherwise, they could've been "good" until 2070 or beyond.  I simply didn't indicate the year, as I didn't think it was necessary.

I received them in December - one of the jars was good until August of the following year.  Simply not the year that the rep stated and they certainly had been made before I ordered in November, in direct contradiction of what she stated repeatedly during the presentation.
