Germack OH NO !

[ Edited ]

I am watching the presentation right now .  The representative is showing what's in one of the jars and she got to the peanut butter drops and there was a long blonde hair right in the middle of the drops  🙀. The camera immediately got  off of it .  I've never seen that happen in all the food presentations through the years.  I realize it can happen , just wonder if it was from the factory it was packaged in.

Well that is a big turn off.  I do wonder if after a presentation all the food dumped into bowls are then put back in the jars for the next presentation. That could easily account for the hair.

I would think it came from whoever was setting up the display for the presentation.  That's my first thought.  I would not think the hair came from within the packaging.

"Stuff happens", especially during live presentations.

That wouldn't stop me ordering.  What stopped me ordering ever again, was the set of 5 holiday jars I got last year.

The claim the rep made then was that these weren't "even made yet".  That they weren't made until the customer placed the order and they were good for a year.  She said more than once, that these jars weren't just sitting in a warehouse, like the ones you buy in the grocery store, waiting to be shipped out.

Well, I placed my order in November; received them in December.  One of jars had "Best By August".  The others?  All "Best By October".  (So as not to confuse anyone unfamiliar with "Best By" dates: August and October of the following year!)  So they'd been made months before and sat in their warehouse, in spite of what she claimed.  I opened the August one and tossed it.

Sadly, I had given one in a Christmas present to a friend.  She said they were "just okay".  The other jars got tossed, too.

Yes, I got a refund and, no, I will never order them again.

I've tried these types of products a few times---why? I ask myself alotWoman Frustrated--------and have gotten horrible products. Not with hair in it--omg--so gross!! but usually the nuts were all broken and tons of nut dust--never thought to check the date tho---and this last time---the food was so stale and think the dried fruit upset my stomach a few times too. So dumped it all and got my $$ back.

I had the 5-mini jars of summer assortment nuts sent to my grandkids.  They enjoyed them with zero complaints.
