After the horror of July, I feel we earned a few clothing shows.

Fall/Winter clothing is my favorite, so I enjoy looking at what’s new. This past weekend was tax free weekend in my state so I took advantage of a decent savings on a few clothing items.

LOL on the "horror" of that one little CIJ month of other products taking the place of fashion (which was actually included here and there). Apparently, some fashion customers want even more fashion shows because nearly every day, hour after hour just isn't enough for them. And if anything, the ones who don't enjoy all the "HORROR" of the fashion shows are the ones who've earned a break from fashion shows and without the others complaining about it.

I'd burn my pillows if they weren't so expensive in the first place!

Yep, unfortunately thats a tried and true trend of QVC....once they find a category thats selling well, UNFORTUNATELY they will RUN IT INTO THE GROUND....and apparel happens to be their big selling category at the moment ....but what they don't realize is people will buy what they need for a time BUT THEN customers will have all they need and will STOP BUYING....but that's something the Buyers and Programmers dont seem to understand.....

If they dont "watch it" (pardon the pun) they will be going the same route of SHOP HQ (or whatever they call it now)...it became THE WATCH SHOPPING CHANNEL because everytime you clicked your remote to that channel they were showing nothing but watches 🙄...and struggling to survive....3 mill loss 2021, and 18 mill loss 2020.....revenues grew in March 2022 but they got a long way to go to success....

You're so right, especially about running things into the ground. And I remember when SHOP HQ was constantly selling watches but I had no idea about their nickname. They did it with fashion too. I actually got so tired of it all that I stopped watching. It's been SO long that I don't even know what they sell anymore.
