I've always participated in the comments and chat but I no longer can't. I get a message"you can't comment on this post right now."  I can't figure out why.

@rms1954   This happened to me a few months ago. I went to check the boards and got the message that I could not post anymore.  Apparently, they banned me by mistake. I have never had a post removed and I always follow the board's rules.  I contacted the social media team and I was "unbanned". Prehaps this happened to you also.

I don't understand the need to anyone to post any opinion on a social media account.

You are not going to change anyone's opinion.  Anything you write or contribute is with you for life.

People change and so will your opinion but having it in writing for the rest of your life could create a problem in years to come.

@Mistreatedbycs I have been on a local only FB page for over a year and it's quite fun and interesting. It's carefully monitored, no nastiness allowed. Criticism is OK if polite.

I thoroughly enjoy it. I'm also on Nextdoor and it's the same.
