@Roscoe the Rascal you and I are on the same plan. Shoes and a couple of beauty items are my purchases moving forward. I look at my bill and think wow, I bought (fill in the blank) and still paying for those. Seems silly. I pay my only other charge card off each month that has some recurring items , Amazon, eating out, etc. so how did "we" get convinced it's OK to pay for their stuff on ez pay? I get emails often reminding me that I have a lot of unused credit limit left and don't I need something Smiley Happy Mine will be paid off by November. Retirement has set in for me and my new way of living has started. Good luck to you!

I am thinking about retiring this next year so got me thinking about my spending habits.  I pay off other cards if I use as well. Just a bad habit I guess.

I am always getting notices as well on how much I have to spend.  I spend a lot less than I did a few years back for sure.

I am trying for October to be done with easy pays.  I do not want to start out the new year will easy pays.

My husband and I use to watch together and we were big on trying the different foods as well. He would see something he liked and say that would look great on you why don't you get it.  He often surprised me with jewelry as well.  Times have changed.

Enjoy your retirement and I think we both have just reached that point where we are moving on.

buying for need, not want, which is so difficult!!!

i know, when i see an item that i am still paying for 5 months after the fact, i kind of get annoyed.  why, i don't know, i guess i just want it over with.

so using restraint and i am just glad that all the last months of TSV's have no interet for me!!!

stay strong!!!!!!!!

Good luck to you too.  Funny but after awhile it annoys me too.

I don't watch like I use  to either so not tempted.  I enjoy the forums.  I think there are a lot of ladies I could be friends with.

Re: FLASH Event -- FREE SHIPPING 8/18/25

I ordered some Susan Graver pants Sunday and when I saw the flash shipping event I went to my wishlist to see if the pants changed in price. Well lo and behold, the pants I ordered were an as-is item: A683622. I ordered 2 pairs, black and mocha. I paid $20 plus S&H for each pair Sunday evening, they had been this price for a while. When I looked at the items on Monday during the free shipping event, QVC raised the price to $25!! I saved money by buying them Sunday and paying S&H vs. the flash free shipping event.

@Roscoe the Rascal   I retired last year, and I've really cut back on spending.  I watch less, but still purchase.  I need nothing, so it's all wants.  ðŸ¤£.   Make your plans!  I try to order on free ship days.

I agree, I really enjoy the forums.  Lots of great posters in kitchen, beauty, home, holiday and Among friends.  I know I could be friends with many.

Retirement has been good.  I worked almost 45 years and I was ready.  So glad I went when I did.
