Is this why deliveries are taking so long? Are they shipping by train? 🤔

It's possible a train derailment has somehow blocked the movement of trucks....or it could be a new and imaginative excuse. I think I got that one once a long time ago.

@Kachina624 If they're shipping by truck, it's a long drive from CA to FL. No wonder it takes forever to receive orders from there.

@Kachina624   I am in California and I checked the rail log, and other road blocks I don't see a,derailment in Calif since about 8 mos ago.  Maybe broken down IDK. But no derailment I know of. But then again. What do I know, lol@.

Maybe it's me, but I hear about train derailments all the time. I know there was one this past week in Texas, another a day or two ago outside of Harrisburg. And in the back of my mind I'm thinking of one few days ago in New Jersey. They sure don't seem that uncommon.

ground packages are moved via rail from ca east

train derailment could happen any where in any state along the route

@spabar. It takes exactly two days for them to get from the warehouse in Redding, PA. To Albuquerque, NM where I am. They travel overnight.

@spabar @It's up to UPS to decide how they get their packages from point A to point B, not QVC.  I would also think train is faster than truck.

At least it's not horse and wagon.

This is not associated with the train derailing. I placed an order on June 28. It was marked as shipped in Ontario on July 2. It's still marked as shipped from Ontario on July 2. It took weeks for customer service to agree to grant me a refund. They kept telling me it was on its way and wouldn't agree to a refund until after about 30 days from the ship date. I've been shopping with QVC for years, and while there have been some shipping issues over the years, I've never been made to feel like I was overreacting or dumb for calling to check on something that hasn't budged in weeks in the shipping process until this time. I think everyone at QVC, including customer service, is very aware of what is happening in Ontario, and they are doing their mitiest to not grant refunds because of it.
