In the past month or so, I've seen in my cable guide that Ellen or at least whatever she sells on the Q are supposed to be on, but each time I've tuned in, computers are being sold. I never catch the opening so I don't know if an explanation is offered to viewers or not.
Has as this been addressed here? Thanks in advance....

I was wondering about this as well, Knitters. I think it's every Thursday night at ten? The program guide shows that E.D. by Ellen is going to be on, but it never is. I don't recall ever seeing this discussed in this forum. Hope someone can fill us in on what's going on.

Knitters,
Ellen's merchandise is usually aired on Thursday evenings right after 'Shoe Shopping with Jane.' She has a rep presenting her products and is never there in person. Once in a while she will call in.
From your name, I assume you love to knit as do I. There is nothing I find more relaxing than knitting. I'm currently working on laprobes for nursing home residents for the holidays as well as hats, scarves, and mittens for the needy kids in my community. Whatever you are working on, enjoy. docsgirl

I noticed that too, and wondered about her whole line, since she herself has never been on that I've noticed, after the launch.

Hi, it is best to check the guide on QVCs site here. Because the cable guide is wrong a lot lately as far as QVCs products. The same has happened to me, where as my dvr guide says one set of products are on and when I turn it on, it is something else. (Especially on the QVC plus channel QVC also has now). So now I check QVCs guide.
Also about Ellens products, they're called ED for her initials. She has a rep on selling her products because she is on the west coast and Q is on the east coast. She does call in at times during her shows. (And when she first started selling them, Carolyn had gone out to CA to present with Ellen). But lately its just her rep selling her ED products.
I hope this helps.

The program has been on in prior weeks on Thursday nights, but lately it seems that since it's time for school again soon, QVC is turning to selling computers in that time slot. And then it's Rose of Tralee, and then fashion week.

I think it's kind of insulting to the customer to sell items at high prices and put your name on it and never come to sell it in person. She can't be doing it for the money. If she really had an interest in the products, wouldn't she want to come and sell them to the viewiers? I understand she is a very busy woman, but so are many of the other vendors and they come to QVC to sell their products with their names on them!

When I seen Ellen had no interest to come to the Q....I no longer had interest in tuning in and purchasing.....she has had the entire summer to show up...her show is on re-runs....but she never did....(I always look to see if she is there or the woman who she sends).....as Corr wrote....other vendors manage to show up to sell their own products....so should she...I don't even watch her daily show for that same reason....totally turned off by her indifference....

Some of the reviews on her things aren't very good.....

I really don't get this either. Why does a 'star' who makes millions of dollars create stuff and sell it on TV? I guess I could say the same thing about someone like Serena Williams on hsn just as an example.
I don't see these two to be the same though. Serena does her own fahion clothing line, Ellen, I'm not sure what's up with the stuff she sells. I don't think any of it is stuff she creates, seems like things that others make with her name on it. Household goods - certainly nothing I'd buy nor will I like her pockets with my money. Does she give it all to charities? I'm betting not.
