This will definitely help me cut down on shopping QVC. I do not have a printer and do not plan on getting one. I am older and have mobility issues and going to the post office is not an easy task. I don't send back a lot of items but now I just don't want to take a chance. I understand this is the way most companies are doing this now. I wonder if you call the Q if they would send you a return label?

yes, they will.
i saw a post from QVC about it on their official facebook page today.
a blind customer asked that question.

Let me start by saying that I don't like making returns. If I order something it is because I either need it or want it. I order from every category provided by QVC, from food to vacuums, from computers to home decor, from live plants to clothing.
My returns from every category Except clothing and shoes is zero.
My issue is with clothing and shoes. Sizing is inconsistent and to be honest I have no idea why. QVC brands such as D&C, Susan Graver, Belle, and Joan Rivers should be cut to a single, standard size......but they are not. Sizing is all over the place and the measurements provided online for the garments are incorrect.
Shoe sizing is another problem. On more than one occasion, at the very end of a presentation, a vendor will say "you may want to size up a half size". Why? As a vendor, they need to hold manufacturers responsible for quality control and creating their item to certain specifications. And don't get me started about shoes only available in whole sizes. If a vendor can't produce a shoe in 1/2 sizes they don't want my business.
In conclusion, if QVC wants to prevent returns they need to do a better job of providing consistent sizing. This new return was tried once before and QVC returned to return labels.
Why not compromise. Why not allow each customer to determine if they want return labels. Similar to selecting payment type for an order, let customers select if they want a return label.

Almost every online retailer I buy from uses the same QR code or print label policy. It's the only way it should be done now due to increasing costs. I prefer to not have increasing costs of postage and supplies passed onto consumers.
For those who don't have a printer or won't use QR codes, you will unfortunately see more and more things we deal with going that way.

Thank you for pointing out the email. I had actually deleted that one, but just found it and put it in my QVC email file.
I wonder if we can still use old return labels. I have plenty of those because I save all the paperwork I get with my orders.
The older I get, the less I like all these changes being forced on us, although this one is not that big a deal.
In my job, I have to pay the UPS bill. About a month ago, they stopped sending return envelopes and suggested we pay online. Well I kept sending checks. Then, I got subsequent invoices with a $25 fee FOR MAILING A CHECK, and a $5 fee FOR A PAPER STATEMENT. So an extra $30 weekly fee for getting a statement and mailing a check. Unbelievable.
So I called, twice so far, to get the fees removed and I signed up to pay online. I guess with stamps going up again, that will save me money. I just hate being essentially forced to comply with the new way of doing things.

@nascarfan when was this tried before and return labels eliminated? I know this method of returning isn't new as it has been in place for some time because I have used this methond in the past, but I haven't heard of QVC eliminating return labels altogether until now.

@Teddixat It's a local Parcel Place that deals with all of those delivery services. I simply drop (no waiting in line) packages off there. However I have never seen them do QR codes plus there is a sign on their door saying that they don't do them....oh well
I suppose I can go to my local post office but it's just a bit further out. That's not a problem but there is always a line there.
@haddon9 @You can go online for USPS and schedule a pick up at your home. No need to go to the post office

@elated Thank you! Yes I am aware that I can schedule a postal pick up. I had an Etsy business for years where my local mail carrier would pick up packages on my front porch. However I always had a label attached to the package.
I mentioned going to the post office for a QR code. My printer needs to be working again since we moved it into another room. I'm not good at this and hopefully there will be no glitches if my son helps to get it working again.

Receiving a return/exchange label here has been hit or miss lately. And, I found that it went much faster if I printed out a label and took it to the Post Office.
I have not had much luck with scanning the QR code and taking it into the Post Office or UPS with my cell (my fault), so I prefer printing out the label. And, I have a printer at home.
Recently (before I received the email), I received an item (clothing that did not fit), and saw the option to take it to UPS (which unlike the Post Office was open Saturday afternoon when I received it). And, much to my surprise, QVC emailed me later that afternoon to say that they knew I had sent back the item. A couple of days later, I received an email that my item had been delivered and they would credit my account. The credit showed up today. This is so much faster than in the past -- much more like Amazon.
I am sorry that this new rule will not work for some of you.

@LindaLatte I had the same experience when I printed a label. The return acknowledgement was fast and the credit was done to my CC within days.
