@soozer  I've heard this before but I never asked why. What do you find offensive about a glass of wine on the table? I'm not being rude, I just don't understand.

Do they actually drink it or is it just "for effect"?  I don't recall seeing anyone drink it but I'm not a big fan of watching the " winehour" programs.

My husband and I would joke about it during holidays.  There were some nights where the ladies were feeling good.   He would ask me how are the girls tonight.

It doesn't bother me and I have had a glass at times with them.    They are not out of hand at all.  

It is just a thing and eventually it will be something else.

@banned again  are those the only ones you found? This comes up almost every two months. Wonder why some people think that it's real wine?

Now I'm wondering if Matt Dillon, Festus and the gang of Gunsmoke drink real whiskey? I watch at lease 5 episodes a day. Never bothers me.
