Not everyone is Jewish. Geez.

Bingo. Now don’t use it if you don’t know the correct date just to sell.  How hard is this to grasp?

It’s not about making mistakes. Yes, we all make mistakes. This was a host that did not do his homework. Then has the nerve to get upset because someone else didn’t know either and fed him the incorrect information.

Did I mention he is a legend in his own mind.

@manny2  AMEN!

I believe more people would be inclined to give him a break if he didn't act like such a diva the rest of the time.

Actually I hadn't noticed but then I'm a big David fan.

@Traceyz- Most calendars show the date of the first DAY of Chanukah and not that Jewish holidays begin the night before at sundown.  That is probably where the confusion was.  He did acknowledge his mistake a couple of times.

@WORKING GAL ... Your last sentence...That's exactly why the OP didn't need to mention it!

@KKJ ... So am l !! I don't think he's a diva. I think he prides himself as being a good host. I think this really embarrassed him! 😔

 I listened to David's Coffee Chat this morning....anyone can listen...just click on David and Facebook.  As part of chat he said he was sorry for any confusion on air last night about Hanukkah.  He stated celebration dates and said he was part of blame to confusion.  Ok, thank you...done!

Personally, again, this was a mistake....ask yourself if you have ever misspoken!  Yes! We all have made mistakes!  With all the problems in this world, this is small.  Time to move on.....

He blamed it on someone else? How unprofessional.

Host bashing is a common hobby for many here.  I think some watch just waiting for any mispronunciation of a word, any sideways glance, etc. and then race to the Q boards to unleash their criticism ad nauseum.
