Wow.  Nitpick much?  And to the person suggesting David do his research before the show?????  It was an off-the-cuff comment, nothing to prepare for.  Sheesh, get a life!

@Traceyz  Maybe you should have waited a bit to give David time to correct the mistake.  I have yet to meet someone who is perfect.  As others have said, he did correct his mistake.

I do not expect David or anyone else not Jewish to know the correct date of Hanukkah.  Hanukkah is actually on the same date every year.  The same date on the Hebrew calendar.  The current year is 5784.  Ancient!

It seems to me that there is always someone ready to call out a host or vendor for something they said that was incorrect. People need to get over the need to criticize others, especially behind a keyboard, and accept the fact that NO ONE IS PERFECT, not even you, New Member.

Love this. No one is perfect and alot of these complainers need to look in the mirror.

Giving  the wrong  date of a holiday that changes every year is not the end of the world.

There are more important things (and dates) to concern oneself with.

Poor David!❤ I did not see the show, but as has been noted, it was an honest mistake.😔 Producers are constantly in their ears stressing key selling points, quantity remaining, etc.😊

He was merely repeating what was relayed to him in the moment, and as has also been noted; quickly corrected his mistake!😊👍

Of all the hosts I have had the pleasure of watching through the years, the loveable Mr. David holds my heart because of his INTEGRITY, wit, and charm!!❤❤ I am certain he felt bad for anyone that might have taken offense to his gaffe!!!😊

~~~All we need is LOVE💖
@paixmcdao I don't think the script is ALL up to David. Give those involved a break.  It happens.
