I also don't think the vendors are necessary, however I really think they are brought in to "relieve" the hosts during the presentation....

I believe the oposite.  Let the vender talk about their product since they are getting

the money from it.  Why pay huge salaries to the hosts.

I love when they try to justify her credentials.   She worked on a cruise ship for 15 years or some nonsense.  I think she worked in the cruise shop that sold jewelry.

Similar to the woman who sells Re-Body and Nature's Code.  Her grandmother owned a natural foods store.

Makes you scratch your head.

I have say that I do not watch when she is on. The hosts do a better job and the shows are much more enjoyable when you don't have competing voices talking over each other. She is not a designer, nor does she own Diamonique, she is just an employee of QVC. They lose my money when she is on because I turn the Q off and go to another channel.

I think the Diamonique vendor is a slap in the face to hosts like Antonella and Nancy Hornbach. Nancy went to school for accreditation, and Antonella has been the queen of jewelry. Now, they just sit there like bumps while the "expert" tells us everything the host knows. Management decisions never cease to amaze me.

A better question is why is QVC selling fake diamonds in the first place! There is no "quality" or " value" in such jewelry.

Love the Diamonique rep Erin Mosely, I feel she brings a new and unique perspective to the Diamonique. Erin is very knowledgeable and non threatening to the hosts, the girl next door. I love MBR, but if she does retire I would like to see EM as a regular host.

Is that what Erin Moseley is?  A Diamonique Vendor?  Personally, I don't see the need for her input at all.  She brings nothing to the party that the very capable hosts can impart to us.  Maybe I'm being petty, but just don't see the need for her presence at all.  Hope I don't sound bitchy.  I have nothing against the woman, just feel that she detracts from the presentations.  IMHO.......just saying.

The Diamonique brand name was "sold" to another company. Therefore, QVC no longer owns Diamonique. This is the reason for a Vendor. The Vendor now represents the Diamonique jewely name/brand/pieces of jewelry. Thus, a Vendor and a QVC Host now sell it as a "Tag Team."

The Diamonique brand is NOT what it used to be. QVC rarely offers it in 14kt yellow or white gold. I am sure it is related to the extremely high cost of gold. Thus, QVC offers Diamonique pieces in sterling silver or 14kt gold clad or Platinum clad over sterling silver, but the quality is not what it used to be either. The Diamonique brand name was "sold" which is why there is a third-party female Vendor (sales person) sitting with a QVC Host. In other words, QVC no longer OWNS the Diamonique name or brand. QVC now must have a Vendor with a QVC Host in order to continue selling Diamonique. Obviously, a tag-team sales tactic. I wish they would offer more REAL gold pieces, but I highly doubt that this will happen as gold is super expensive today. I cringe when I see Sterling Silver Diamonique pieces being sold for the same price that QVC used to sell real gold for years ago. I am very disappointed with the lack of quality in Diamonique pieces and even more disappointed that QVC rarely offers these in REAL gold. I prefer White Gold. I am allergic to Sterling (the copper and other metals makes my skin break out into an itchy rash). IF QVC offers Diamonique in White Gold, offers more easy-pay options and improves the quality, I may start purchasing it again on a regular basis. I have many REAL White and Yellow GOLD Diamonique pieces from many years ago (during the Kathy Levine and Lisa Mason years). I view these as an Investment, and am glad I have these pieces. These are very well made. The quality is there, and I have never lost a stone in any of these older pieces.
