Spoiler

Why after 30 years I don't recall why a vendor is needed for Diamonique? The host no what is need to know. They have been doing it for years now we have a vendor that says nothing new a waste of money. Just a thought

I, too, was confused by the addition of a Diamonique vendor....because, let's face it,  Diamonique sells itself. After all these years, those of us who make up the Diamonique audience, are very aware of the quality and value Diamonique affords. The vendor seems lovely, but honestly she doesn't seem to add anything new or valuable to the shows...besides, the hosts have all done a great job with their presentations. How about leaving the Diamonique shows to Antonella, Nancy, Jen Coffey and, of course, Mary Beth.

My hope is that they are expanding the line and we will see some pretty additions.  Maybe their sales are not good and they brought her in to make it look special.  Note to the buyer:  please bring back the Diamonique sapphires and the beautiful classic looks from yesteryear.

Put Doamonique in 14k or 18k real honest to goodness GOLD, NOT CLAD, NOT PLATE , and I'll be happy to buy it.

No "vendor" no "designer" and really, no host, will will convince me to buy ANYTHING besides what I know I'll like before I buy it.

My gosh, they have a special vender for most everything now.  There is usually someone to bring on and welcome in . . . the designer, the inventer, the spokesperson, the expert.  Good grief.  Small wonder the prices are so high.

@Peaches McPhee -  Maybe it's because there's more gold in them, but the gold and cubic zirconia at one of my local jewelers is more expensive than QVC's -   hundreds more.  I'm happy not to be in the jewelry market any more.  I just don't even wear what I already own.

I, too, find it totally unnecessary to have this new "vendor."  And while I'm sure she is a lovely person, she kind of turns me off for some reason.

The jewelry hosts can sell diamonique in their sleep. They are all knowledgeable about the designs and there is little that can be added to the origin of a lab created stone. It's not like the vendor can tell us about an exciting new discovery somewhere in Peru. Other than modeling when Rick hosts, it's just seems to be a lot of two people agreeing with each other.

On the positive side, the vendor is not shrill or loud and shares the conversation rather than wrestling for it. When Mally was on a few days ago with Jacque I was interested in a product but could hear perfectly on volume setting 3. Those ladies can ramp up the decibels.

No vendor is needed for Diamonique.

Also, while we're on the subject, why are two hosts needed to sell products like Jayne and Pat?  Such a waste of money on QVC's part.

If one can't sell by herself, then put her in another department at QVC.

I have always preferred one host at a time and no vendor. That doesn't happen much anymore.
