Some morning last week, when Gary was with Julia, a caller commented on the clothing she was buying-- maybe the skimmers-- and then politely told Julia that she was talking too fast and that the caller could not " get" item numbers. It was an appropriate comment as I also thought Julia was speeding through the presentation.

I enjoy Jayne but prefer Pat with Gary. It does not really matter to me who is presenting. I tend to flip on the channel every so often when I am in my bedroom with the television. Most of the time, though, I shop online.

Yes, last week they had a caller saying Julia spoke too fast.  It must have touched a nerve with Julia as she brought up the callers name twice after and commented about talking slowly. This week no calls.

This year the D&Co new items seem "blah" to me.  There are too many plain-jane looking clothes with no pizazz.  The styles seem to be all the same year after year.  How about some really new fun prints that aren't so large & some different styles?  What happened to thinking outside the box for a change?  And please don't put  JT on any more D & Co shows.  She just makes me change the channel immediately.  I still can't believe they kept her & let Carolyn go. Argh!  I feel for Gary!  Poor guy.  :-(

What @KailaS said, plus when the caller told Julia to slow her speech down, that she couldn't understand her, Julia responded with a s-l-o-w, p-a-in-f-u-l-l-y  s-l-o-w repetition of the item #.

Some thought the caller was rude and some thought Julia was rude~~~I thought the latter.

The caller was completely rude and Julia doesn't deserve that on air. Her bosses are supposed to tell her how to do her job not QVC customers. Julia is getting alot more airtime on the main channel and better primetme hours. I absolutely loved her with Gary as she brought fun and energy. I thought Jayne today was duller then dishwater. She had zero chemistry with Gary. I mean he had the best with Carolyn but she's gone unfortunately. I hope Julia becomes the permanent Tuesday host. Julia did Patricia Nash bags yesterday and she brought so much fun. She truly loves all the colors and she's an effective storyteller. She gives u a story and pins it back to the products.

@JONNYSBRO   She brought fun and energy?  I have never thought watching QVC was fun.

I need more action than that to move me.

I like watching Leah, I've never thought she was dull. She has to be the cheeriest person at 7 AM on Saturday mornings, I've ever seen.

I think the Q wants a fresh, new, young face on D&Co.

They want more customers and there is not enough of their usual base.

If they're looking for a new face, they're going to have to freshen up their collection. Maybe, it's Gary who needs replacing and some fresh, new designer. He depends on bringing the same things year after year, instead of some new interesting collections. The line doesn't have to be designed for just the young; interesting designs for all ages.

With all due respect, @JONNYSBRO., if you take that line of thought all the way up the chain of command, customers are the ultimate boss here at QVC. The caller had every right to ask Julia to slow down if that's how she felt. If the people who buy the products don't like what they see or hear...no sell. And if sales get abysmal enough there will be no job for "the fabulous" Julia, or her bosses, or anyone else here!
