What make you think he is not healthy, there are people who is a lot smaller who are not. I think you need to stop trying to shame people at your age, as we grown older we do gain weight it is a part of aging. Some people gain weight from medication as well, it is a shame instead of complimenting on the cover for  his accomplishment you decided to say he looked unhealthy. I am not as small as I was 20 years ago, and can say this I feel great.

Wasn't trying to shame, it's a personal opinion. I weigh as much as I did 60 years ago. I also worked in the medical field. I know over weight when I see it. Is this an opinion forum, or only a complimentery . He looks unhealthy to me. Yes I'll be 88 next month, I take a lot of medicine, but none have made me gain weight. The ones I have, listened to the DR, and followed his advice.

The man eats continuously for 4 hours on Sunday then he is talking about picking up Chinese food after work to take home. He starts eating B4 the football game starts and is still eating when the game is over. There is nothing healthy about his cookbooks all fattening recipes. QVC would be doing him a favor if they took him off the food shows and have him sell vaccum cleaners

When you read the copy, the magazine sort of looks like the National Enquirer of Food.  Lots of iffy sounding information.

@MrSour

I think he said he gets Chinese food after every Sunday show. Chinese food once a week is not good...even if you're not overweight.

@bobby5, at least he sprays the soy sauce with the Olive Oil sprayer on his Chinese food.

I didn’t realize Mr. Venable had so many personal physicians on this page who can comment so knowledgeably about his health.

You all must be fun at parties.

@MorningLover - I'm sorry your nice, positive thread has been hijacked. Thanks for sharing some fun information about a QVC host.

I was at the public library this past weekend and saw his cookbook displayed on the shelf. It made me happy to see that!

I love David.  He seems like a big Teddy Bear to me.  I bet he is fun to be around and I never miss his shows. He is a great Salesman.  QVC is lucky to have him.
