Re: Customer Calls

@Othereeeen I know what you mean regarding those dang Berkshire throws. I can't believe how many presentations they have especially from Fall to Christmas!

Your post is hilarious btw!

I wonder if there is a few seconds delay just in case the messages would not be appropriate or approved.  Personally I think there should be.

Oh they are dreadful! Yesterday on Kim's show after a long time of a dead air a woman finally spoke up saying how much she loved Kim and then blurted out her husband died. Mary wanted to know the callers husband's name and than Kim went on about how much she loved her and her husband was there and then the caller just went on saying I love you Kim over and over and Kim did the same.
They need to get rid of the CALLERS!

I heard this and wondered why, if Kim loved the caller so much--as she stated over and over, and again at the end of the presentation--she should've asked the caller to leave her phone number with the operator and she could call her privately later. I have a problem with people using the word "love" and "adore" so freely.

A few years back an older gentleman called in and talked to Bob Bowersox. He complained about the way the prices were presented, with no mention of shipping and handling included in the price.

And 'member that game QBird or something like it? A woman called in and got Rick. She was playing the game, but for some reason Rick was going on and on. She finally told him to "hurry up,she had kids to put on the school bus".

Customer calls are one of the reasons I rarely watch anymore. I have never liked them. Too chatty.

I saw this and it was awful. Had to turn it off which I'm sure is the opposite of what the Q wanted.

That's funny because I was watching the Luminara tsv awhile back and a woman called in saying she had like 30 or 40 of the candles though her house. She just bought some more and was contemplating one more set in a different color. I like my candles but wow, someone might be going overboard unless they live in an actual castle. Instead of sending her back to the operator they needed to connect her with shopaholics anonymous.
