@Spurt.  Then if a customer further interacts by making a comment on the corporate sponsored community forum and criticizes something a host, says, does or wears, she gets shot down for being "unkind".  The company's tolerance for interaction seems to have definite limits.  Never mind how "unkind" the host may be to viewers.

For elderly people who can't leave the house find these people to be entertaining and their friends I personally don't but if it makes them happy that's ok.

I understand what you are saying but I have to use an old cliche, ---" it's their Forums, so their rules.". some posters took the hosts criticisms way too far so I can understand why rules had to be implemented...

Plus the government is giving free masks now, too. Cutting into the Dubrows 24/7 sales!

@Spurt    Assuming powers that be means politicians, I will keep wearing my mask and staying as far out of my old normal as I personally feel is healthy for me until I am convinced that the numbers of infections and the numbers of severe cases leading to hospitalizations are likely to stay down.

Covid just doesn’t pay a bit of attention to what those powers say — but I didn’t trust many of them prior to the pandemic and see no reason at all to think they have suddenly become clairvoyant.

@febe2.  I doubt the people to whom the government is giving masks are the same people watching shopping channels.

I hear you the Dubrows are getting tiresome they  are on continuously selling their covid stuff.

I know this sounds un feeling , but if all the merchandise they sell , you would think she wouldn't got covid. Some of those sanitizing machines are questionable at best. Masks yes, but the rest ?

In our area it's a bit ironic, because with the vaccines and all....the "powers that be" are actually thinking of doing away with the masks requirement since the new case numbers and hospitalizations have been low....  If this becomes "the thing" in other parts of the country a lot of people are going to have a lot of masks that wont be used and just stored away...

Our governor never had a mask mandate and other precautions were minimal (at best) which is why our statistics are always so bad. I won't stop wearing a mask just because some governor or politician said it's ok. I'll follow the scientists who are experts in pandemics.
