@TheMemphisVette

Perhaps if you added "to me" at the end of "non-issue" it wouldn't come across as so caustic a reply.

How true that "constructive criticism" is often taken the wrong way.  Best to give advice only when asked.  Safer.

I had taken some time away to deal with some health issues, but decided to return.  There are so many people here who have worthwhile issues to discuss, as well as wisdom to impart.

I made the mistake of starting something I personally feel strongly about.  I tried my best to make my case, without demeaning others who felt differently.  I guess I had forgotten how rude and insulting some posters are. Never again.

I had considered perhaps showing pictures of my years of Early American crafting and painting in my home.  I love to see what others have to share - gardens, decorating, collections, and what some posters have made with their own hands.  Nope, I will not ever do. Can't imagine why!  And there might be a few comments regarding this post.  I really don't care, as I treasure the relationships I have with so many here.

Well-------what OP said would certainly be the ideal way to deal with stuff. But in this day and age, that is the exception to the rules anymore. I think now that people have the power of being able to remain anonymous, to write/say anything about anything and not take the consequences of those actions--this is the normal way of life.  The old saying--if you can't say anything nice, shut the he** up-- doesn't go far. So many think they have the right to be mean and nasty---I blame one main person for all that---Woman Mad

@wagirl Really?  ONE PERSON is to blame for everyone being nasty?  You are giving that person way more credit than they deserve.  People have been mean and nasty long before said person came along.

My opinion on this hasn't changed in years.  Constructive comments on programming, inventory or other issues with QVC are helping.

But, negative comments about the hosts or vendors have no place on these forums.  Most of it is just bullying and no matter what changes or not they make, there will be still those who don't agree.

There are negative comments about the bodies, hair, nails, speech patterns etc about actual humans......this is a NO GO as far as I am concerned.

If you don't have anything nice to say, keep it to yourself.

You don't get paid to critique hosts and vendors.

@Carmie I don't think I have even negatively commented on the appearance of a host or vendor.  But if they are doing or saying something repeatedly that I find offensive or annoying as a viewer, I will say so.  It likely will not change anything.  But I have found many other viewers who feel the same way I do.  I don't think there is anything wrong with those discussions.
