100% agree.  Add the so-called patronizing definitions of the phrase, as if we don't already know, and it becomes so passively mean and condescending.

As well as the "Who cares?" phase.

It's the equivalent of someone sticking their tongue out at a person as a form of communication.

Agreed! And the endless criticism.

So much of the criticism is very petty, not constructive.  Somebody saw a host doing something they perceive as goofy once so they have to come here and complain.

It gets very tiresome.

Differing viewpoints are alway interesting.  Also fascinating to see how they are expressed.  Language skills sure vary and we can always just ignore.

That must've been during the time we had five or six days with no gloomy  rainy days where I live in the last six months, and I got something done outside for a change....

It FEELS like it's been gloomy, gray, rainy or chilly where I live since....shortly after birth.

(NW PA...it was FIFTY here this morning June 11, it's misting 'er so gently, the grass is tickling my...well, you know ( can't mow it) and it's SO DEPRESSING!!!!

the non issue opinion seems to be an issue for some.

i will stop using the non issue opinion

i will spell out my opinion instead

it never occured to me that biases and perceptions would turn this simple opinion into ugliness

thank you

Constructive criticism is always good for improvement. But, personal attacks about personal appearance, demeanor etc of hosts are not constructive criticisms. The forum has evolved into a social experience covering a wide variety of subjects. Tho it’s nice to read opinions, especially from posters who live in different states, it really doesn’t assist QVC re sales or product improvement/development. IMO, it’s nice that QVC continues the forum. It does cost them to hire moderators, technical people etc. & I don’t know if they gather a lot of information or data from the forum or if management even reads it.

@Stray

I think the forum may give them SOME value..they probably reason that once a person is on the site to post, they will most likely see what the TSV is, or look at other items...and maybe even....gasp....BUY something!!!!
