Along those lines, what bothers me is the trend on most of the cooking shows and demonstrations that feature salt and pepper bowls (instead of shakers or grinders)...
The Chefs will handle raw meat, and then grab a few pinches of salt to season it.
Doesn't that result in cross-contaminating the entire container?
