Cancel option not showing within 14 minutes of placing order

Placed order at 5:27am for sale item on my Wish List.

Went back at 5:41am to double check the easy pays seemed higher than what they should be. All good though since S&H and tax made them higher…

But I did notice NO CANCEL option showing and even more surprising PREPARING MY ORDER! 🤗

So basically just a heads up in case cancel option is gone or the time frame is way way shorter. 🤗🤗🤗

The cancel option has been gone for a long time

On both 6/17 and 6/18 I cancelled orders though…

@RescueLover   My experiece is that one ordered, you cannot cancel.

I have varying degrees of ability to cancel orders.

I have been guessing that it all depends upon how desperate Q is to "move" the item?

It also depends on whether the item is being shipped from the vendor.  Some vendors have a longer cancel window than others.

I had a Lug bag I purchased yesterday, but then needed to cancel it.  It canceled just fine, but it was only about 5 minutes later.

 

So the cancel feature is not gone, but perhaps they reduced the time to do so dramatically.

@RescueLover   Good Morning. I thought so would share what a Supervisor told me.  I did not believe the CS so asked to speak to one.I was so shocked as only  wanted to change immediately my CC number and could not? It was possible but complicated.

 

She told me some not all orders go through in MINUTES and be changed.  It comes down to  it depends on the item.

 

I order from Macy's and Pennys and have one half to one hour  to cancel and they state that. One of the Q oddities that is so frustrating for customers. As we know preparing our order can go on for a long time.🙄

I've noticed that too--and these days most orders go to a 2nd party, not to the QVC warehouse,  who acutally does the shipping. I was told this by CS at Qvc--she said she can try to stop it but if not, to return it saying that you never actually ordered that item. I don't really order much anymore because of this issue as well as the s/h cost and time it takes to get to me.
