I really believe that David should broaden his Vocabulary. I'm tired of hearing his Very,Very Busy! There are different words he could use to describe Very,Very!!

@Ddizzle I think we all would find faults with ALL the hosts.  They all have their own style and actually who cares.  It's their job and David for one is of the veteran hosts so obviously he has been doing something right all these years.  I know myself I say many words repetitively it's just the way it is and makes us unique.

@Ddizzle What words would you suggest?

It is the ongoing dumbing down of the country and the world, imo. Many people in high levels of the country and business speak in the same elementary manner. People were just complaining about how Amy S. speaks just 2 days ago I believe and other overused sales pitches, phrases and words they all use on Q.

From the few times I watch him briefly and the comments on these forums, I think David is on auto pilot and probably doesn't even listen to himself.

I often wonder (not very, very often) how much time some people spend watching QVC and its hosts, to complain about such seemingly minor things.

And for it to be very, very distressing - not to say extremely distressing - to make someone go to the trouble of registering and writing that person's very first post about it, it must be extraordinarily distressing.

Perhaps submitting a list of suitable alternatives directly to DV might be exceedingly helpful?  (The suggestion of a thesaurus might be especially useful.)

@kaydee50  I agree! I've watched David since he took over the kitchen shows, and he has drifted into indifference and making due with rote phrases. I have always been a fan of David, but I think he's checked out.
