@Shanus, You seem so much younger.  I am 77.  I think that those of us who had to wait a while before grandchildren can relate to those longing for one.  After so many years of grand pets!

@Luvsmyfam   Your best bet if you truly don't want to buy anything today is to not watch QVC.  I'm sure you know that though.

I know some of you will not agree, but here goes.......careful giving jewelry (expensive) to a daughter in law, better off saving for granddaughters. I've heard too many stories where an expensive piece of jewelry was given to daughter in law and then the couple divorced. Jewelry was not returned. It could happen.

@PamfromCT   I have 3 granddogs. My DD has 2 beagles, a family thing. When she FaceTimes me, she puts her doggies on for me to say HI from Grandma. Oh well,  whatever makes her happy.
