I have been away for about a year on QVC and HSN and I can not believe how high the prices are now. I know inflation and yada yada yada but some of these items are things I could find similar on amazon (and have found) for half the price. Just kind of disapointed in how much the items cost. I know...if I don't like it then don't buy it...and I don't...but I used to buy quite a bit and now I won't because I can't let myself spend my money so carelessly. Just my opinion.

Not to sound..... it a lot,of the prices (especially Susan Graver) have high prices for polyester goods. I can go to TJ MAxx or Kohl's for similar items cheaper. I think Susan Graver has gotten way out of line, and I don't even like any of her items.

@watchado33 I haven't purchased much from QVC for years due to their prices and shipping costs. Years ago I did most of my Christmas shopping on the Q. I haven't purchased any Christmas gifts from the Q in years, Most of the products they offer I can find elsewhere at much better prices and no shipping fees. Also they no longer carry unique items like they used to.

Yeah, prices at the Q and HSN are high! And, perhaps the PTB could do better. But prices everywhere on everything are totally out of control! I think even USPS prices are going waaaay up, while service supposedly will be going waaaay down as mail won't be delivered daily - I hope that was just a rumor!!!
Perhaps we should put less emphasis on gifting items and instead gift errands, time together, whatever we can come up with. Nowadays it's tough and it doesn;t seem like it's gonna get better soon - just mho.

I looked at The Barefoot Dreams dolman pullover top. Seriously, what makes this item cost well over $100???? I thought that it must have at least 50% cashmere but it's nylon and rayon??? Nothing unique about it. What am I missing????

The prices are ridiculous & you have to pay shipping too. I rarely buy from QVC anymore.
Same. I've bought...but I had to either really want it (like repeat Philosophy washes I regularly use, which basically were always too high, but been using for years and still like Purity etc), or other items where I spot a deal, or they have free shipping and a Rakuten.
But I've passed by much more than I've bought lately. And I've balked at many a price I've seen. I definitely have been comparison shopping with Amazon and straight from mfrs in some cases, for years now. But this year is outta sight on Q. I really don't give a fig what the reason is...Covid, boats waiting to come ashore, not enough help...not my doing, or problem. I don't need any of these things, thankfully. Inflation everywhere is nutty.
When I have to pay what I have to now for gas, groceries, incidentals I need....I will definitely be doing without yet another overpriced polyester, nothing special top from another talking head on Q. Even still yet another overpriced "comfy" outfit. Or Christmas chotchke. Easy passes.

I used to see something that I thought would work for me & just click buy. Then they changed S&H & that made me pause sometimes.
Then the other day I saw a shirt that I had to have-A296477. Nothing special. Buffalo plaid, button up shirt But the color Fall Pink is a great color for me & hard to find cute things that I can wear in that color.
96% polyester. OK. Then I saw the price & I thought I was being punked! $53.28+$3.50 S&H.
$57. I mean, I about fell over!

Lately when watching the Q and other shopping channels, have been a Q member since 1989 ,I find myself putting on my glasses to see if I heard right prices like for a blouse heard $60 + then they also had shipping on item, food items keep hearing free shipping no way it has been added into those high prices, as shipping companies have raised their prices, like for a cheesecake,or saw the other day 24 Swiss type potatoes (looks like puffs ) $73 dollars not saying wouldn't like some of the food items, but prices are just outrageous.
Think there is a lot of GREED among vendors, for this holiday season ,and the country I think is going in the wrong direction for 2022.

There are certain products I intend to continue buying from Q, even as prices rise.
I don't have any excess disposable income, but happily, my budgeting skills are (so far) meeting the challenge.
