Not a problem for me, in recent years I find much of the jewelry on the Q to be very underwhelming.

not in the market for jewelry right now, but it is a change from 24 hours of christmas

and it's not jewelry for gifts that they tend to show a week before Christmas

I'm not purchasing anything though I did have a momentary lapse of reason!  I would love to have the citrine ring but I made myself look in my jewelry cabinet and count how many citrine rings I already own..........it then becomes an easy NO.

I'll enjoy watching some of the shows today though.

@Shelbelle    More than a year ago before the pandemic was even thought about, I went looking for new earrings locally.  I was willing to break my 2013 vow to avoid buying new jewelry.   I shopped Nordstrom Apostrophe, Bloomies, Macy's, Chico's and more.  I didn't want to spend more than $150, preferably less.

Absolutely not one pair I loved fit the outfit I was buying for, but the shopping convincd me to make one last trip through my own collection.  Success!  Earrings I bought years ago were better than anything else I saw.

I will glance at the jewelry shown today, but I already know I will not be tempted.  I see virtually no jewelry different from what I already own anywhere I go -  that was even true last night when I broke down and went to a live concert for the first time in nearly 2 years.

I made my vow but broke it.  However, in my defense, it is a gift for my dear daughter.  I know that Lapis will be in short supply soon if not already, so I bought her a pendant to match her pretty blue eyes.

I am up in years and constantly say “I want to give with a warm hand.”

@PamfromCT  I've never heard the "warm hand" expression, but so true. I've already given many pieces to DD and DIL and several pieces to GDs, saved until they're older. I'd like to see them worn and enjoyed as much as I have.

I have all my gold and silver pieces from TV shopping 20 + years sago, still wear them faithfully. i have tons of gold from SHQ from years ago, beautiful and were so reasonable back then. Enjoy !!

My go to now for jewelry would be JTV, cant beat the selection and prices, their Bella Luce puts Diamonique to shame in design and price

@Shanus, Like you, I am culling my collections.  My DD, DIL are getting pieces gradually.  I am saving some things to give to my GD when she reaches a certain age, as she is only eight years old.  I also want to save and designate a piece for my GS’s wife-to-be, a long time from now. Better be, as he is only 13 years old!

We are way up in years to have such young GC.  Our DD married later in life.  First marriage for her and SIL.  They had been married to their jobs earlier, no children now.  DS and DIL married young, but no GC for 10 years.

@PamfromCT   Up in years? I'm 73, but plannning to still wear my favorite pieces and GDs are 12 1/2 and 10. It'll be awhile before they wear anything of value, so my DS and DIL are keeping them safe for them.

By the way, DS didn't marry until 35 and DD and SIL chose to not have children.
