Linea items going to backorder are not a supply problem. He hasn't been making anything new. I do believe they over sell items & then they can't fill the orders unless they get a return.

Yes, I am beyond frustrated.  I ordered 4 items on 6/13, kept saing they were in process.  I just checked now (6/27) and they are back-ordered.  What the heck is going on over there?!  These were not sale items, but new items.  Never have this happen with HSN or any other place I order from. The Covid is no longer an excuse.  It seems we are getting worse service than we were then.  Come on, QVC, for a billion dollar company, you can treat your customers a lot better than this.
