Yes, I know of Jayne's history, @Caaareful Shopper . She has a great background and it shows on her shows.

I remember her when Pat and she did fashion together. And I remember when Rachel came on,and she went on along with Jayne and Pat.

You know, though, it won't be the "most qualified" who will take Carolyn's place. Entertainment history may be what they're now looking for.

I saw Nancy do a Laura Geller show. She must have said her name thirty times at least. And she didn't just call her Laura, but used Laura Geller each time.

I wondered if maybe she repeats name, so she won't forget who she's talking to. Or perhaps it was done to make herself seem familiar with the vendor, like a friend.

She does it all the time; it's a habit....

I dont think Jayne Brown is the person they are considering. Shes duller then dishwater. I have never found her to be exciting to watch. Julia Cearley is what D and C is about its fun and energy. Gary loves Julia as she is all about authenticity

Jayne, Leah, Mary Beth and Pat all have longevity, high-paid salaries and are of retirement age, combinations of what I believe is the reason they let Carolyn go. That makes me believe they might go for one of the newer hosts.

You forgot to include Jane T in that group - and we all know how old she is lol.

I didn't forget, @chlema . I don't believe she would ever even be considered for that position.
