Am wondering how much vaction time Q host get.It was mentioned On shawns show,she is going to DC with the hubs this month.I'm actually off from my library job,due to a dr.appt.Im thrilled like Im on vacation!

Also she said last night she was just at Turks & Caicos (sp?). They must get a lot of time off since they have to work weekends, holidays all the time.

I would speculate 5 or 6 weeks annually, not unusual.

Agreed.

I would think a seasoned salaried host is getting at least 4 weeks off if not more. What they do on vacation is their choice.

My DH before he retired was getting 5 weeks of vacation time.

I assume Shawn gets a lot of vacation time, just a benefit of the job I suppose. But I always kind of wondered how her hubby gets so much time off. He seems to go on all the trips with her. They are lucky to be able to travel while they are young.

@Luvsmyfam @I know what you mean! Leaving work for a couple of hours for a doctor appointment feels like a vacation to me, too! I've even noted that sometimes attending a virtual meeting feels like a vacation! LOL...it means I can look up from my urgent work on my desk! Haha

my sister works for the government.

she gets six weeks paid vacation and of course, that is not even including sick time or personal time accrued. she also gets to work from home at least three days a week.

i have no idea what the "fringe benefits" are for working for QVC.

When I was still working I got 5 weeks off, and even though I was salaried since I was in IT we often got called after hours so we would get compensating time off for that.

That's the hosts personal business.  No way are they going to offer such info to posters.

My last job I had 4 weeks of vacation and 7 sick days.

Hosts' vacation time is their personal business. I can't imagine

why it's of any interest to anyone else.
