Some of the hosts are quite nice about responding and do it most of the time.  It can take a couple of days after you ask though. 

Then there are other hosts, like you say, who never respond.  It depends.

Amy is one of the better hosts at responding.  For the heck of it, I went to her FB page and looked and about an hour ago she was answering some questions on her page.
