This post has been removed by QVC because it's argumentative

I only saw her a few times, but I did not like her.  Very loud and I thought what will she be like in 5 years?   I am sure there are many reasons that QVC let her go and we will never know because it is not our business.   She is young and she will find her thing.

She may not have been your favorite but apparently some of us liked her.  But that's besides the point.  I have said it before, the Q spent a lot of money training her and they felt she was good enough to put on the air so it would seem, assuming they got complaints about her presentation, they could have talked to her instead of just abruptly firing her.  That's just my feelings about it.

We we have absolutely no idea as to the interactions between her and QVC.  maybe they counseled her several times about areas they wanted to see improvement in and did not see the improvements they wanted.   WHy are people assuming she was not talked to?

I'm sure Alex reads these blogs and many of them are mean spirited..  Women should only uplift other women. That is maturity speaking on my part.

Alex is a young professional who appeared to really love her job. As a matter of fact some of the vendors seemed to really enjoy working with her.  I wish Alex the best in all that she does.

Since she is a woman she should be supported, regardless of her appropriateness for the job? That makes no sense whatsoever...would you apply the same to men supporting men? She was a bad fit, even if they treated her shabbily...

Sorry; but she was irritating to watch.  It wasn't the job for her even if she appeared to love it

Your right.......wouldnt even make sense for Management to just watch a host and not critque her presentations and just watch her flounder. Some even have shows together with their mentor. There was an article in one of the financial papers that talked about QVC host jobs and they said that veteran hosts were critiqued, so certainly someone trying to land a job would be too................

Interesting how some of the brand new posters come aboard to defend and sing praises. One poster only had 13 posts all about Alex, and now this brand new contributator with one post....Brings back memories....I remember after Pattie Riley left, these type of posts would surface and people would inquire...."Patty is that you"....LOL

If Alex is reading the Forums that's her decision to do so. Employees arent allowed to post here wihtout prior authorization and they will have a special ID designation so places they post are Blogs or on their own Facebook Page.

Ive heard some of the hosts say they stay away from the Forums entirely and dont read them and told people to comment on their Facebook Page if they have suggestions or ideas on products or the show...etc....

Some hosts are brave like Antonella who a long time ago admitted one time that she said something to the effect she reads what people say on the boards.(I dont know if she still does though)  And she even admitted to reading the old Television Without Pity website known as TWOP.(which is now inactive). it was a no holds barred Forum---Antonella has a great sense of humor and/or is very brave...........
