Maybe the title of that thread was the problem rather than what was in the replies?? Maybe corporate was getting calls from upset viewers for no reason.

I can't imagine why so many people think a host is gone when they haven't seen them on the air for a day or two. It's summer and there are all kinds of reasons people take days off and all kinds of reasons whoever is left works strange hours to cover for those on vacation.

You are so right. Almost daily there is a thread "Where is XXXX?" Do we really have to know or care if they are on vacation, etc.? If someone has left QVC, we will find out soon enough. (that doesn't even happen that often )

The original post was not nice, and given the horrible comments that were made about him, as well as positive ones by those of us who love him, the Q is being very careful about him. Some of the posts about him a month ago bordered on discrimination and the Q could get in trouble for that.

There were no horrible comments on the original to which this thread refers.

I saw one or two posts on that thread which I thought were rather inappropriate. I'm not surprised the thread was closed down. Maybe some of those types of comments will disappear quickly with the new policies.
