The thread titled "Alberti Gone?" is now closed. When you try to post, it says comments on this thread closed (r something like that,lol). It only began 7/25-Closed 7/28 with only 30 posts...AND almost every post was postitive. There were no nasty posts at all!!! Is the topic of Alberti completely "off limits"? Can we not even say GOOD things about him????

Well, it was established beyond any shadow of a doubt that he wasn't gone, so the original point of the thread was rather moot. One of those dead horse thrashing threads.

I don't see why QVC would mind if you started a nice new thread about Alberti in Q We Love.

usually the thread is closed because of nasty people....but you say there was none...maybe there had been and so they stopped any more from showing up...

Alberti is such a nice man and great Host...I can't think of any reason not to like him....

I think there are people in poster land that thrive on doing anything they can to ruin any thread just to see of they can do it. That is probably what happened here, someone said something to try and turn the thread ugly.

It is a shame that there are such miserable people on here that they have to come in and try to ruin threads just for the fun of it. Oh well such is life.

I like Alberti and hope he does well with the Q.

No one is saying the thread was poofed. The thread is still there, but is closed for commenting. You can view the thread, but you can't add more posts to it.

That is a shame that they closed the thread down when it appeared to have become a home for positive posts about Alberti. I agree with those who like him and likewise think he is one of the best hosts at QVC.

I don't get it. This makes no sense at all. If there was a nasty comment, they could have removed it and let the thread continue. I love him. He is enthusiastic and thorough in his presentations. And he looks so nice all the time.

Maybe since he is not gone, QVC wanted the thread to drop onto pages 2, 3, oblivion rather than worry new readers of the page with the suggestion that Alberti was missing?
