I haven’t made a QVC purchase in quite a while. I have enjoyed wearing a pair of Peace Love World jeans I bought many months ago and last week I freed up some money to buy two more.

The nice jeans aren’t the pleasant surprise, although they are just as I expected and fit well, had no damage or defects, were fresh merchandise (not a returned item).

The surprise was I placed the order October 31 and it showed an EDD for 11/6. I had very little belief it would even ship before the EDD date, based on the litany of complaints about shipping sloth. QVC is not known for speedy processing. More like endless "processing".

Well, it shipped November 4 via UPS SurePost.  I’m not a fan of SurePost because the handoff to the postal system and its added handling delays delivery by many wasted days.  But my My Choice  membership facilitated UPS to keep it for direct delivery instead of continuing through the SurePost delays.

Holy moly! UPS just delivered two fresh pairs of jeans, shipped yesterday. Get this: they were neatly folded and placed in a cardboard box, not a plastic shipping bag! They were accompanied by a properly printed packing slip and return label (I won’t need the return label; merchandise is perfect).

So pleased to receive my order sooner than expected, packed more protectively to avoid wrinkles, and provided with appropriate paperwork. (OK—not grousing about missing the free shipping deal.) I’m so glad I ordered  after a long interval of feeling quite unimpressed by the QVC I’ve been reading about in the forum here.

Inspired by this positive experience, I ordered a new and useful Lug bag I’ve found an interest in from its recent on-air presentation. Yes, I really think it will arrive on time, packed well, and be new and fun to have and use.

It’s good to be enthused and optimistic about ordering from QVC again.  An example of Selling 101:  a customer likes a purchase enough to reorder even months later. Things are done right to get the new order fulfilled and delivered without disappointment. Then more orders follow from the happy customer!!

Profit builds from satisfied customers getting what clothes or merchandise they really like, not goofy or extreme sales pitches, and not long delayed, messed up

shipping that dampens the excitement of purchase.  Seems very basic.

Looking forward to my Lug bag.  Thanks, QVC!

It's nice to be pleasantly surprised.

I hate to burst your bubble, but Lug bags are shipped from the vendor and are notoriously slow to arrive.  Mine don't usually show up for at least two weeks after the order date.

Hopefully yours will be an exception.🤞

@gizmogal    I hope you didn't push your luck by buying the Lug bag.  My clothing orders have been shipping very fast, other things not so much.

Oh no! @geezerette  and @Kachina624  your advisory about Lug is sad to read. I'll stay hopeful, but forewarned!

I guess I'll enjoy my new jeans while accepting my recent delivery luck as more like the reality of "too good to be true about everything".  😭 waaah...

That may explain what happened to me.  I saw my Lug had shipped, but there was never any tracking available and, a few weeks after "shipping", said "voided information received (???).  Anyways, QVC customer service made me whole as it was never received (and I have a door person, so things don't disappear!)

@Alter Ego Sorry for the frustration on the lug bag/shipping.  My understanding is they ship from Canada, go thru customs & then ship to us which for me usually takes 2-3 weeks total.  I love the organization, the colors & the light weight.
