I haven't shopped in a while but recently purchased the 2 pair of pants WWC TSV. One fit well, the other not at all. So I returned the pants.
Should have thought about it first as it cost me approximately $10.00 just to try them on. I think my days of shopping QVC are numbered. I'll have to be very tempted to consider paying $10.00 or more to try on an article of clothing.
In the past, I've ordered 3 pair of D&C slacks, all in the same size. One color fit and the other pairs did not. There should be sizing consistency to support the shipping policiy currently in effect at QVC.

I was tempted to try a few of the FFANY shoes but the cost for shipping outbound and then return costs made it unrealistic.
These boots would cost $12.00 to ship to me and if they don't fit another $7.00 to return.
Not interested in investing $19.00 to try on a pair of shoes.

Hmmm, I never thought about it that way, but now that you mention it, it would be the same to "test drive" an appliance, kitchen utensil, etc.

I recently bought a GILI item that said a size 20 had a garment size of 49" according to QVC's own measurement chart. I am normally an off the rack XL and if the item measures 48" Chest then I know it will fit me well. The item I wanted came up suddenly in a size 22!! I bought it thinking I wouldn't mind the extra sizing. When it came it fit beautifully and when I measured it (from underarm seam to underarm seam with the garment laying flat and edges meeting in the center).... it was 48" ~~!! (I have sewn for years and know how to measure garments).....
SO... I got VERY lucky, but we can't depend on QVC's measurement charts to be correct!! If we can't depend on QVC's own measurement charts to be correct then how on earth do we get a garment to fit without having to return it?? I for one do a lot of research on the items I want to buy before I buy them! But if I can't depend on the charts, I won't be buying.... How can I???

So not worth it anymore. QVC has changed so much and I'm not buying much at all. The costs are high for the products, returns are expensive, programming repetative and boring, don't care for so many hosts. I've gone back to B&M and am amazed how reasonable alot of stores are compared to QVC pricing.

The hosts conveniently don't say this, but they are quick to point out that you can try an item at home for the Easy Pay price, not the real price of the item.

It does make you think, doesn't it?
You really have to consider the cost of shipping and handling and if something isn't right for you and doesn't fit, then you will incur additional charges. So what first started off as a great price, in the end, was no bargain really at all! Of course, this can be said with anything you buy through the mail.
I have really curtailed my ordering on-line these days. I just can't afford to waste extra money. That is why I do most of my shopping in person. I'm not saying I don't enjoy on-line shopping, because I do. Or that I don't see a lot of nice things on the Q and other places that I wouldn't find other places. But I do like the fact that when I go to a store, I can try an item on, I can see the actual colors, fabrics, etc. And, if I don't like something, I just take it back and I don't have any more charges!!

I too have rediscovered the pleasure of spending a few hours strolling through TJ Maxx, Zara, Nordstrom and feeling that everything in my shopping bags is something that I really I love and for which I feel I paid a fair price.
No more looking through a crystal ball to guesstimate sizes, no 10-15 days waiting for arrival, no exhorbitant return charge, no waiting 3 weeks for a credit for a return.
I guess I'm just over online shopping unless it's with a company that really truly excels at the practice (such as Amazon).

yes and I heard Nancy say that rather than returning them, we should "give them away" to someone else if we didn't like them.
I understand that the shoe sale is for charity, but in that case, I would prefer to donate my money directly, rather than having to order, try them on and then return them.
Maybe QVC should donate the shipping to charity instead.

And ironically if the item doesn't fit, you've paid approximately the cost of that first Easy Pay for the privilege of returning it!
