Re: EVER SEEN A WHITE PEACOCK?

Why,yes I have. I came out of my house one day to run an errand. There sitting atop my Murano was a white peacock! I was shocked to say the least.I went back in and told my husband. He came out to see it and it was gone.

And no,I wasn't on drugs!

I thought it was some type of omen but I'm still poor and chubby. LOL

Re: EVER SEEN A WHITE PEACOCK?

@Tinkrbl44  The peacock in your picture is gorgeous. I did see

a white one about 20 years ago, when my husband and I stayed at an inn in Vermont. They had a white peacock on their property.

They are such beautiful birds. I have loved peacock blue since I was 8 years old. This fall, I  got some peacock feathers to use in two dry flower arrangements for my mantle.

I also found a William Morris peacock design pillow cover for a throw pillow on a rocking chair.

I thought those colors would be a nice change from my typical orange, fall colors.

During the Art Nouveau period from the late 1800's to the early 1900's, peacocks and peacock feathers in decor, fashion and jewelry were very fashionable. I love that era.
