He should have tested the humans' blood before and after, too, I'll bet money on that "really freakin' cool" cross species release of high levels of oxytocin goes both ways. I for one, love my furbabies more than I love most people!

@JAXS Mom wrote:My honest opinion? I'm a bit tired of the whole cat vs dog contest. And why is it always people with a dog preference that are this mission to prove their dogs love them? I have both, dogs and cats and love them both.
Cats hate change more than dogs, and are prey to more species than dogs are. The study was a waste of time because few cats are going to be their normal selves when locked up in a strange lab being tested. He basically admitted it. I hope he he didn't get any funding for such a poorly designed study.
Beautifully said, @jaxs mom I was going to highlight some sentences but every word you wrote is true.
I just don't get why everything has to be a contest anyway.

I agree with you 100%!!
I have had cats all of my life...am currently "Mommy" to five (all rescues)... and every single one of them always blessed me with their unconditional kitty love!
As far as I'm concerned Paul Zak is a cluless idiot, an animal abuser (animals in a lab!!!) and a fraud!

My rescue kitty Freyja approves this message!
I'm sure my other 6 rescues do too but she was the one sitting on my desk right now.

I also appreciate both species.
Didja know that you're "bipetual", JM?
It means being the guardian of both cat(s) and dog(s).
Jackson Galaxy coined this awesome term, and is bipetual himself.
Check out Etsy and other vendors for bipetual T-shirts/other stuff.
