I wear a 40B, waist approx. 37", hips 42".   The small chest is 40, but it had better shoulder width measurements for me as well as sweep.   I have an older PC top in med, so I know there's not much give.  So, I got med.  LORD knows I'm going to worry and wonder about it for a week...I will be royally miffed if a small would have worked better.
