I'm so happy for you!  Now I recall that you wanted these.

The multi-colored earrings promise to be amazingly versatile.  They can go from Winter, with jewel-tone clothing, to Summer, with straight-up White.

Turned on QVC now, and there is Martha Stewart wearing some very strong earrings.  

The big, dominating statement earring is most certainly back.  And, as we read in the article JJM posted, suits with the big shoulders are returning.  Such suits demand strong earrings.

For about a year I've been buying largish Anne Klein vintage earrings from eBay because I knew I wanted that look sometimes and did not care a fig about what was in fashion (as some readers of this post might, quite naturally, feel about dominant earrings).
