@GraceCO- I tried to watch last night but as soon as I saw her at the intro I couldn't go any further and stopped the tape.
I was upset at first when I saw she was the host yesterday but then to read about her insensitive comments really took me over the edge. I know many of us including the other hosts and models will never forgot what Louis went through last year losing Jac.

The post that was started this morning under Fashion about Louis' show and the host has been removed by QVC. I guess QVC does not care for criticism of their hosts. There was nothing nasty or "snarky" that was posted, just people commenting on her lack of professionalism.

I felt the same way when I saw her perched on the couch in the show's opening...sigh. You hit the nail on the head as to why we feel so protective when we perceive Louis being treated insensitively or disrespectfully. We saw his pain and this first year of grieving has to be so difficult for him. It's all just beneath the surface, as those of us who've lost loved ones know well. I have to think the comfort of his favorite hosts soften the pain and loss temporarily. And, while I don't think for a moment this host was intentionally being cruel, her words & demeanor stung regardless. Knowing how fragile and tender especially this time of year is for Louis, just made it all the more cringeworthy and impossible to ignore.

Grace you are so right. I gasped when I heard her say, with a smile on her face, "will you be partying over the Holidays", or sometrhing to that equivalent. I was speechless, and felt so badly for Louis. He handled it well, but you could see he was taken aback for a moment.

@cancun08 Looked for the post, but was unable to find anything yesterday. Perhaps I wasn't looking in the right place or wasn't looking hard enough. Frankly, most know my opinion of that host and I didn't need to chime into another post! Sometimes, it's best if I keep my mouth shut. We all walk that fine line on these Forums.
Another unprofessional comment she made that no one else has mentioned: she actually called him, "Babe." What's with that comment? (As always, Louis ignored her flirtations. He is such a gentleman.) I found it offensive! Shortly after, she asked if he had plans to party during the holiday. Is she an aging cheer leader? Cannot watch such antics on a shopping channel, nor should any guest/vendor have to be exposed to such verbal insults ever. While I don't believe she was cruel, she was thoughtless, completely unprofessional and the never-ending interruptions are annoying with all her programs. Her rudeness speaks volumes about the self-absorbed person she truly is.
Dang! Now, I wish I had read your post before it was deleted. Sounds like you were fired up and speaking the truth with honesty and respect for Louis Dell'Olio. KUDOS to you for pursuing! Warm hugs to LDO and all Linea Ladies.

@SomertimeJust signed on . . . late to your post, too! Guess I'm not in time to "party" with everyone. Would have loved to add my two cents worth, but you all know my thoughts on that host. Last January did it for me.
Then, I gave her more chances (for Louis' sake). Nope the stripes have not changed. Louis Dell'Olio and his viewers are paying the price by having the Linea shows scheduled with that host.
ETA: Changing the hours of the show should/would be a simple fix IMO. Or, at least on her days off!! The other hosts working the overnights are professional, competent and listen to their guests' presentations . . . such a concept!

They not only give Louis "bad hours" for his shows, but guess it seems to fall on her shift all the time. That needs to be changed. He should be on in "prime time" and with another host. As far as someone saying that the host should have been reminded about Jac, we know she knows he lost his wife. Everyone at QVC knows and on his first show after he shared a letter she had written and he refers to her many times. That host definitely should have remembered his loss and when she asked him about "partying" that was totally inappropriate. Bad enough that she had asked about his Thanksgiving plans. QVC needs to do better.
