Re: My Easy Thanksgiving Meal

Hot chicken sandwich & mashed potatoes with turkey gravy, french cut green beans, cranberry sauce & Milos iced tea... dessert later today, coconut creme pie with a cold bottled Starbucks frappuccino. This was a quick change menu, yesterday I discovered my oven wasn't working so no turkey, stuffing & pumpkin pie but what I made using the microwave was easy & really good.

We went to a steak house. Filet. Salad, mashed, corn, green beans, rolls, and crème brûlée for desert.

A friend's family restaurant for a take-out turkey dinner with gobcake for dessert! I made cranberry salad and pickled eggs to go with it.

Thank @Desertdi  My stove is gas too, the oven starts but won't heat up...thought about having it repaired but it's 25 yrs old. I'm grateful it was just me today, not sure what I would've done last minute for family.

My super easy Thanksgiving meal...

These were pretty tasty and just the right amount of food.

The meal size is 'for one' and the dessert size is 4".

BTW, it's just myself and I have a very tight budget.

Box of Roast Turkey with a plate of turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes under the product name and STOUFFER'S logo.

Re: My Easy Thanksgiving Meal

I moved our turkey breast from the garage deep freeze to the garage fridge Monday morning.  I went out there to get it this morning and it was still rock hard.  I put it back in the freezer and thawed a couple of boneless pork loin chops for DH and I instead.
