I am meeting up with my brothers/wives today for a lunch and games day at my brothers house--made me laugh--as it sounded like the meeting for a old bridge club thing--we all are retired so why not on a random Thursday!!! Anyway---needed to figure out what to bring for food and found the biggest, reddest, lovely strawberries I've seen yet. Were called giant strawberries---and 2 of them covered my hand!!! Put those in the cart--then found big blueberries--not quite as big😏---in the cart they went. Then found blackberries--biggies too and lastly found golden berries---kind  a new thing for me--are very golden, kind of citrisy and a lttle tart but beautiful color. Made a dip to go with it all too. Chili is on the menu and bought a big round of sourdough bread. Love TJs--I live a few blocks away now too. Yay!!!

Re: trader joes yesterday---

Just came back from TJ's.  Many items that we loved, e.g, the paella are no longer available.  Do like the gala apples.  Don't buy as much as we used to.  They have a lot of ethnic food, e.g., Indian, that I'm not too fond of.  Oh well, things change!

Re: trader joes yesterday---

Trader Joe's is a good store, but I never buy frozen foods.  When checking to see where it's made, I've never seen anything made in USA.

I don't buy frozen foods-- but do the fruit. I buy alot of the seasonings tho. Got some really good combos that I use.
