What you describe is exactly what an egg coddledr is. I don't understand what is different about the egglette.

They're cheaper, plastic, and uglier.  Lol

 

i'm sure eggless, now egglets were designed from coddlers

I got some of these years ago at a garage sale or goodwill just cause they were pretty. Had no idea what to use them for. These are the royal worcester porcelain ones. I went looking for them and found them after reading this thread. Finally know what they are, just not sure how to use them. I learn so much here. Smiley Happy
