Banana sandwiches with mayo.

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

I like to eat sweet chocolate cake with potato chips.

I like to eat fried Spam with pancake syrup on it.

I like sliced cucumbers and sweet onions soaked in white vinegar.

I love cottage cheese with A-1 sauce.  It's my go to breakfast most mornings.

both times I was pregnant I loved:

liverwurst with yellow mustard and dill pickles slices on rye bread

I'd still eat it now, except now I look at calories! Liverwust is HIGH!

Hmm, not weird, really, but nobody else I know seems to like crisp toast with butter, salt and cracked black pepper.

Awwww.....@RedTop, my mom made cukes and onions in vinegar for picnics, and also to go with green beans cooked with a ham bone! That was a nice thing to remember.

Chocolate with salty potatoes was another childhood fave, but my version was hot cocoa with french fries.

@Libbylady, in a weird way, it's kinda like pairing plain, full-fat yogurt with a splash of aged espresso balsamic vinegar.

@denisemb, tuna and olives is a great combo.

My mom always said, when you have a craving but don't know what for, eat either tuna or olives!
