I just got a Miele dishwasher a couple of months ago and am enjoying it.

I chose it because it softens its own water as I don't have a household water softener and wasn't planning to buy one.  

 

My dishes are so sparkly now!  My old one didn't function for a long time so I was washing by hand.  But even the old one didn't make the dishes sparkle this much.

 

It finally feels like mine now.  It took me a while to get used to it, especially the third rack for flatware.

 

Consumers does rate them in the top few of needing fewer repairs.
