I bought a keurig for work, but it is awful. It leaks water everywhere. Any ideas of what could be wrong? It is brand new from Q.

Re: keurig- water everywhere

Just curious... do you have the new 2.0? Or is it the older version. I have heard some water leaking problems with the latest, greatest version. I am not sold. I want to keep my cups as they are... great sales and do not want to buy into those that are only sold by Keurig at a bigger price tag. I know the fix but I really don't want to cut out labels to affix them on the newer machines. They should have created backwards compatible possibilities.

It's the K79, so older version. Only had it a month and it's awful.

Call them immediately (Keurig). Best customer service around. They will send you a new one.

Is the reservoir tight? It's too new for it to have scaled over.

Did you make sure to get all of the tape and papers off of the reservoir? The place on the machine where the reservoir sits?

Get your flu shot...because I didn't.

Re: keurig- water everywhere

We've checked everything. Q was no help. I need to get the serial number when I'm back at work to see if keurig will help. I'll check to see if we missed any tape, still on it. We push the reservoir down, not sure how to make it anymore tight.

I would return it to Q (have them exchange it). Tell them it's deffective so they won't charge you return shipping costs (you can just email them).

I hate to say this, but I've come to the conclusion that Keurig is JUNK!!!! I just had my Platinum series die on me. And I have an older one down in the basement that's junk also. Both were de scaled as recommended. And while at Target this afternoon got to talking to another gent, compared notes. He has had nothing but problems also. He went to Bunn, I went back to my French press.

Call customer service and explain the situation. You can return it without paying for return shipping.

Re: keurig- water everywhere

The Keurig that I have has a fill line (at the top) inside the reservoir as how much water to put in. If you go past the water fill line it will leak. Just a thought.
