So - your saying younpaid $250 for a new food processer when you already owned a food processer that was still in perfect working condition? OK then.

I bought the same machine thinking it would be a breeze to use.

Was I ever wrong!!  Not only was the lid extremely hard to use, the buttons were so hard to press it took fingers on both hands to press.  Even my hubby had to press so hard, he said send it back!

I called KA about the problem and they said although the lid is difficult at first and the buttons are stiff, they said to return the machine as they thought mine was defective.  So, that's what I did and told QVC what KA said.  I didn't want them to put it back in stock and sell it to someone else. Too much food got stuck on the inner side of the lid also.  KA stand mixers are great, but KA needs to make their processors more use friendly.

I'm gonna keep because I like the slicer real well. If I know I'm gonna make cole slaw just have to get started earlier then usual to account for the taking off and on of the lid, re situate it, off and on. Yeah, soft buttons are hard to push also, should of just kept the click off and on old time kind. They come out with new stuff, we think we need it and half time we're better off with the old stuff. Just human nature. LOL
