That's my biggest concern - it is the largest. I like that it has the suction cup feet and offers different blades, too.

I bought a Paderno spiral slicer from Amazon last month and have loved using it. You do have to choose the shape of your vegetables carefully to have the least amount of waste, but you can always put the waste pieces into a soup or a salad. The machine takes a bit of patience to use.

I bought one of these at Walgreens and it works great. They have a 20% off discount tomorrow for seniors .

I just use a vegetable peeler also, and then I saute the resulting ribbons of zucchini in ghee.
