Would anyone consider buying that Yonanas kitchen gadget QVC is selling?  Reading about creamy soft serve fruit piqued my interest, but every recipe in the book started with two frozen ripe bananas.  I would think my Ninja could mush up some bananas and fruit as well as this device.

@AuntG

When I made banana "ice cream", I just used the food processor and pulsed it until creamy.

There is no need for a separate gadget, IMO.

Yes, I was thinking the same...why not just use my Vitamix with some ice and 🍌

Carla Hall from The Chew just made a banana ice cream on Friday.  She just used her VitaMix and then froze the mixture.  Looked really easy.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

I 'kind of ' like it.   Not sure quite yet if I will order.  'Sort of' reminds me of Dairy Queen's soft serve (vanilla) when I was a youngster.  Haven't seen a Dairy Queen in years around here.  Still thinking about ordering...........

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

Freeze peeled bananas, cut into chunks, and add to your food processor a little at a time.  Blend until the consistency is creamy and the color turns lighter.  You will get the same result.

I bought one from Amazon last summer.  Never used it.  Another kitchen gizmo I bought and never used.  I make my "icecream" out of the protein shakes I get from my diet program.  I add fruit, sugar free jello to flavor and it's really good.

Lol, I think of Yonanas as my "gadget mistake of the Summer." We got it about 3 years ago when it was a TSV. We used it a few times and liked the treats made with frozen pineapples better than the frozen bananas. We put it away once Fall came and that thing never saw the light of day again! I believe it will be making an appearance to a Goodwill very soon because its quietly chillin' in the pantry. Smiley Wink
