I love the rectangular one I bought a couple of years ago. I want to buy another but I just don't like the round shape. Rectangles and squares provide far more usable cooking surface.

I have the round one, bought it about a year ago, gave it to my daughter but she never used it and gave it back to me when she moved into her new home. Now I use it a lot. It is so easy and I have cooked steaks, hamburgers and veggies that come out very tender and delicious. I'm glad she gave it back !

Well I may want to keep mine then and when I move try it again as I did not care for the way it cooked. Looked easy during presentation. I have the round one. The demonstrator today was having a hard time with the new one. It didn't register as hot as claimed and some of the food didn't cook well. The George Foreman rep used to present it and everything looked inviting that's when I bought one. I tried giving it away no takers.

Keep in mind that this rep today was the Keurig rep for years and lately since that is slowing down they are using her for other products. Saw her for something else recently-can't remember-now this today. She is not skilled at using this like Dawn-and therefore her presentations are not quite as they should be (wasn't great for the other products they threw at her either). One thing to think of is that the round shape works well on the round glass tray that turns in the microwave. Not sure if the rectangle gives you better use in this instance. I do have the round one and it works great for chicken, rice, veggies etc. They do have a purpose. Amazing how many gadgets we have now to use in the kitchen. My mom's special gadget consisted of the pressure cooker! As with everyone of them, there is tremendous overlap and you just must evaluate how many different items you really need. Qvc stays in business because of our "biting" on everything.

@kjae How in the world do you cook rice on that thing?

@Kachina624-here you go. I don't think I cooked it that long-more like 12 minutes. There are so many recipes if you google it. Many on the Pinterest pages as well as Rangemate site.

@kjae I wouldn't have thought this possible. Thanks, learn something new every day.
