Stores around here don’t carry Wonder either.

My daughter’s grocery stores have Wonder hot dog buns,  no bread.

Mrs Baird’s products rule around this state.

Why?, I have no idea!  Hate all their products.

I use ButterKrust for hotdog and hamburger buns.

My husband likes just plain white sandwich bread, so he

occasionally gets himself  a loaf of the ButterKrust sandwich bread.

(I think that how it it spelled)

Yeah, here in the Amarillo, Tx area Mrs. Bairds rule , also. Most of that stuff especially Great Value (GV) brand is dry when you buy it. You buy on Mon.

it's stale by Wed even though the expiration date says it's good for a week.

Nothing I hate worse then choking down lunch meat on stale *** bread.

Using a loaf a week I'll have (freezer) Wonder Sandwich bread now till Aug.

No more trying to get there early and beat out others having to make a trip just to catch it, etc.  I pity the ones who use a loaf every couple of days.

I make my own pimento cheese spread, coney island, chicken salad and tuna salad. Braum's does make a chicken salad that we can eat when I don't want to make from scratch.  Walmart took out their deli ..sigh.. now I have to make our own potato and macaroni salad too.   When I get to old to cook guess we'll eat cereal ROFL

@SharkE  We got embroiled in having a new water heaters put in and trees trimmed and a couple of other minor crises I won't go into.  NOBODY trims trees around here unless I personally observe!

SO, me and my carb-addicted hubby have the recipe on the counter and are every dry standing over it and trying to figure WHEN we can make it.  Do you know how it is to look at it every day and want it?  Well, maybe you do!!!!

@SharkE You can't get the insurance folks to move, can't find people to do the work, can't get materials.  It's never easy is it???  Poor thing, I feel for you!

Chicken and dumplings is my favorite thing!  I love the Bisquick kind and whether from the mix (I sometimes add herbs to them and use either chicken broth and/or milk for the wet) or I make them I cook them 13 minutes lid off then 13 minutes lid on!

@Sooner    At this point I'm just waiting to see if the insurance will offer to make any kind of settlement. I took pics and gave to the engineer showing my area had hail damage I had time stamped pics I took and printed off of computer. Proof would stand up in court.

First time they rejected the claim they said "defective roofing when house was built".   Ol' Bull**** house was just built in 2010 and has been beat by hail for 10 yrs, have had coverage with these people for all these yrs. and have deductible of 1% for hail damage.

they're trying to wriggle out of it is all it is.

I had hail foot high on my patio and took the shot. Took another pic of the whole street when it looked like snow up and down the street. Hail was half a foot high and pics are time, day stamped by my camera

Now, tell me I got no hail damage .  We'll see

(foot high in patio because the water off the roof piled it up) Remember few houses in Tx have gutters no need for them hardly rains to amount to anything.
